What motivates Lilly as a photographer?
“For me it’s that split second when you instinctively capture,
in a real moment, the emotion of your subject.
It’s what defines my vision.”
A graduate of Art Center College of Design,
Lilly has been capturing these “real moments”
for an array of clients since establishing herself
in New York City and Los Angeles over 20 years ago.
Whether it’s shooting kids for Disney or Mc Donald's,
or capturing lifestyle moments for Bayer Aspirin or Hampton Inn,
Lilly’s talent lies in bringing out the natural in her subjects.
As a child growing up in Santa Cruz,CA
Lilly had the run of her father’s successful portrait studio.
“Watching my father, I learned the art of lighting
and the importance of creating a comfortable environment
where people can relax and just be themselves”, remembers Lilly. “What inspires me is creating an emotional connection with my subjects – the result is always unique and exciting.”
